Nylonia, Goddess of Parties

Many years ago, Nylonia, the goddess of parties, was getting ready to attend a special New Year’s Eve party.
She had chosen a beautiful blue dress to wear. She found a pair of shiny silver shoes to match her silver dangling earrings. She had her hair brushed until it looked like gold.
But, alas, when she got ready to go to the party, she could not find anything to wear on her legs. Socks looked stupid, and she could only find one leg of the beautiful hose she had worn to the last party.
She plopped right down on the floor and began to cry. Her pet chicken, Noodle, waddled over to her and rubbed against her, which made Nylonia cry even more.
“How can I go to the party when I have nothing to wear on my legs?” she whined to Noodle.
Her golden tears fell so heavily on Noodle, that the chicken was soaking wet within one minute. Suddenly, Noodle clucked very loudly and sat down herself. Then with one more loud “Cuh - Cluck!” she stood up again. There, on the floor, lay a pink plastic egg.
Nylonia was so surprised, she stopped crying. She picked up the egg and saw that it had a small crack around its middle. She pulled on it, and the egg broke open. Nylonia gasped loudly when she saw a pair of panty hose come spilling out of the egg. She had never seen anything like it! Two legs of a pair of hose stuck together. It was just what she needed.
She quickly got dressed and went to the party. When the other girls there heard about what Noodle had made, they were very jealous. Soon Noodle was laying pink plastic eggs every day.
And all the ladies in the land never had to worry about losing a leg of hose again.
