In this webquest, you will be asked to research people & places while learning many new terms. When you are finished, you will have:
A working knowledge of the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) and/or
the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA);
Taken a virtual tour of the CIA building and the CIA Museum;
A complete timeline of the origins of mystery, the famous authors,
and when new types of writing emerged in this genre;
Studied
about some famous crime-solvers and their detectives;
Read
and completed several mysteries to practice your own sleuthing skills;
Learned that there are many different crime scientists; you will choose
one to further explore and share your findings with the class during a 1-2
minute oral presentation;
Added various important terms to your Glossary section; AND
Evaluated yourself on the rubrics provided to determine how thorough
and competent your sleuthing skills are! Good detectives
