People came to Florida thousands of years ago and settled into many different tribes. They were the Timucuas, the Tocobogas, the Tequestas, the Calusas, and the Seminoles. Each tribe was a little different from the others. They had their own cultures and beliefs, they ate different foods, lived in different styles of houses, and had different religions.
