     Mammals

You are a lucky student because you are going to research Mammals!

Here's a few facts to get you started.

Most mammals...

These facts apply to almost all mammals around the world. However, there are a few exceptions. Some mammals have barely any hair or fun on their bodies. Most mammals live on land, but there are a few like dolphins, whales, and manatees that live in the ocean. There are two mammals that actually lay eggs.

Your first job is to print out the form Animal Report Form or get a copy from your teacher.

There are many web sites that you can use to find out more information. Take some time just to look at these five sites.

You may link to these sites by clicking on the button in the following boxes.

Enchanted Learning
Kids Planet
Yahooligans
Kids Click!
Sea World

Now...do some exploring about Mammals.

You'll need to "pick" one animal to research. You can either pick one of these five animals, or pick one that you think would be interesting. Just check with your teacher to make sure she approves of the animal you picked.
