Introduction
Congratulations!
Your class has been selected to create a new zoo for Clearwater, Florida.
I am Professor Zooy and I will lead you on your quest.
To open this zoo you will have to include the following five animal groups:
Your Task
Step 1) Your teacher will divide the class into small teams.
Step 2) Each team will be assigned the five groups of vertebrate animals.
Step 3) Your team will decide who will research an animal from one of the animal groups: mammals, reptiles, amphibians, fish and bird.
Deciding can sometimes be a little "sticky" so make sure you use a method of deciding that the entire group agrees on.
Step 4) Each team member will investigate and research one animal. You can pick one of the animals listed below or you can have your teacher approve the one you choose.
Teamwork and working together will be very important to the success of Zippity-Do-Da-Zoo.
