You are a lucky student because you are going to research Reptiles!
Here's a few facts to get you started.
Most reptiles...
These facts apply to almost all reptiles around the world. However, there are a few exceptions. Reptiles are "cold-blooded". This doesn't mean they have cold blood, but that they don't produce their own heat like mammals. They need to get heat from the sun to warm themselves. That's why you might see one lounging on a log near a pond or marsh.
Your first job is to print out the form Animal Report Form.
There are many web sites that you can use to find out more information.
Take some time just to look at these six sites.
You may link to these sites by clicking on the button in the following boxes.
Now...do some exploring about Reptiles.
You'll need to "pick" one animal to research. You can either pick one of these five animals, or pick one that you think would be interesting. Just check with your teacher to make sure she approves of the animal you picked.
