Introduction

 

The Old Ones are fading. Soon they will rise to the sky and join the stars. The stories they told were not written down. These stories may be lost forever if you do not become the future StoryTellers. Your quest is to track down the Old Ones and learn their legends. You must become StoryTellers, or these wonderful tales will never be heard. Each of you has three tasks. Your first task is to be a Tracker, using technology to track the footsteps of the animals who walked with the Old Ones. The Tracker will need to find the characteristics of the animal he/she chooses, use these character traits to develop the main character's personality, and create a story about that animal. Your next task is to be a Listener. The Listener must listen well to see the story unfold. The StoryTeller’s job is not finished until the Listener can see, hear and feel what is in the story. The last task is the StoryTeller. The StoryTeller must be brave enough to speak among others and weave a tale that pulls those around the fire into the story. Remember your clan is depending upon you.
